Summer Reading is over

Summer Reading at the library has ended for this year. 98 kids signed up, and the attendance average was 64. 18 signed up for the young adult program, and 13 for the adult program. Some of the supporters of Summer Reading 2008 were Nex-Tech, Pizza Hut, The Corner Cupboard, Market Place and the Recreation Commission.

On July 16, Stan Labertew, a beekeeper from Sylvan Grove, came to the library.

On July 23, there was a picnic at the park. There was food, a scavenger hunt, and then they went inside where names were drawn for prizes.

The Library also entered a booth in the fair which got a blue ribbon.

We caught the reading bug this summer. Come on in and catch it too.
